Pefkos
Pefkos, whose name derives from the tree ‘Pefkos’ [= pine] is a seaside tourist resort with many golden-sanded beaches.
Since antiquity, it has acted as an oasis of relaxation for the local residents of Lindos in both the summer and winter months.
Just 300 meters from our villas, the organized beaches of Agios Thomas, Plakia and the large beach of Lee offer visitors the chance to relax and have fun with the various water sports available.
With consistently high levels of tourism development in the fields of accommodation, food and recreation, Pefkos remains one of the most popular destinations of the island. In a perfect location, just three kilometres from Lindos, Pefkos allows visitors to easily and quickly reach the southern part of the island, with its beautiful virgin beaches. Equally quickly, you can get to the other mountain villages to enjoy the beautiful forest trails and our mouth-watering traditional snacks.
Starting from Pefkos, you can explore all the beaches of Pefkos, Lardos, Lindos, Haraki and Stegna, dive and fish in the lovely turquoise waters by hiring a small boat, or opt for a mini-cruise with the “glass bottom boats” available.
